DIY Candy Corn Backdrop

When we look back at the Halloweens of our childhoods, we have to admit that the decorations were our favorite part! Everything from painted and carved pumpkins, to the spiderwebs hanging in doorways. Costumes and candy came in a close second for us though (we have a bit of a sweet tooth). With that in mind, we are always looking for fun ways to add new decorations to our Halloween festivities, and what better way to do that than with this candy corn backdrop? Hung on the wall in groups or individually, these life-size candy corns are sure to add a pop of fun and color to your Halloween decor! Plus they make the cutest photo backdrop!

Materials: printer, colorful card stock (we recommend 3 different colors), scissors, tape, and double sided sticky tape.

Step 1: Download our free Candy Corn printable here.

Step 2: Print the pages individually onto colored paper. Whatever colors you want your candy corn to be!

Step 3: Using your scissors carefully cut along the black outline. Pay attention to what number you’re cutting out, you will need to know this for the next step.

Step 4: Make your candy corn sections by taping 1a to 1b, 2a to 2b, and 3a to 3b.

Step 5: Using your tape again, tape the three candy corn sections to one another. 1a/b is the top section, 2a/b middle section, and 3a/b bottom section.

Step 6: Place strips of double sided sticky tape to the back of the candy corns and stick them to the wall in the pattern / look you desire.

Step 7: Throw a party!

Pro tip: To create the size backdrop we did, we printed off the document 24 times to create 24 candy corns.
